Old Tullymet bio je miješani škotski viski proizveden u znak odavanja počasti destileriji svog podrijetla – Destilerija Tullymet. Destilerija Highland Single Malt, većina Tullymetova viskija bila je namijenjena za miješanje, pa priliči da ga je ovjekovječio vlastiti Blend. Tullymet je osnovan 1812. Izvorno poznat pod imenom Destilerija Auchnagie, preimenovan je 1890. nakon što ga je kupio Perthshire. Tullymet je imao tišinu postojanja, uglavnom opskrbljuju domaće trgovce viskija. Old Tullymet was a blended Scotch whiskey produced in honor of a distillery of its origin – the Tullymet Distillery. Highland Single Malt Distillery, most of Tullymet’s whiskey was intended for blending, so it is fitting that it was immortalized by its own Blend. Tullymet was founded in 1812. Originally known as the Auchnagie Distillery, it was renamed in 1890 after it was bought by Perthshire. Tullymet had the silence of existence, mostly supplying domestic whiskey merchants. Suddenly, Tullymet found itself a key component of malt in the world-famous Blended Scotch. It has gained a reputation for extremely high quality. That reputation lives on today, with the Old Tullymet blend containing at least 25% whiskey with one malt – up to twice as much as the mass brand.
