Vino je rubin crvene boje. Na nosu se osjete mirisi jagode, višnje, ribizla, začina, kože i kave te naznaka dima i drveta. Na nepcu se osjete okusi svježine papra, voćnosti te snažnih tanina. Osjete se također note anisa, ljubičice, divljeg cvijeća te cimeta.  Vino je srednjeg tijela s dugim završetkom.

The wine is ruby ​​red in color. The nose smells of strawberries, cherries, currants, spices, leather and coffee, and hints of smoke and wood. The palate tastes of freshness of pepper, fruitiness and strong tannins. Notes of anise, violet, wild flowers and cinnamon are also felt. The wine is medium-bodied with a long finish.

Toskana se smjestila u  središnjoj Italiji, poznata je po bogatoj povijesti, tradiciji, umjetnosti i prekrasnom krajoliku. U regiji se nalaze poznati gradovi poput Firence, Pise, Ferrere i Siene. Regija se sastoji od pokrajina Arezzo, Grosseto, Livorno, Lucca, Massa-Carrara, Pisa, Pistoia, Prato, Siena i Firenca koja je ujedno i glavni grad regije.

Ono što obilježava krajolik Toskane su prekrasni brežuljci, vinogradi, planine, čempresi, lavande i masline. Toskana je poznata po brojnim dvorcima, palačama, parkovima, vrtovima od kojih su savršeni primjer renesansni vrt Boboli rađen za obitelj Medici.

Firenca i Pisa nose nadimak „gradovi umjetnosti“, dok neki Firencu nazivaju koljevkom renesanse. U Toskani su djelovali umjetnici poput Da Vincia, Michelangela i Botticellia koji su ostavili neizbrisiv trag na području kulture i umjetnosti.

Toskana je jedna od najstarijih i najpoznatijih vinorodnih regija Italije čija tradicija seže još u doba Rimskog carstva. Osim što očarava ljepotom bogatog krajolika, planina, šuma, brda i parkova, najveći pogled plijeni svojim prekrasnim vinskim podrumima i vinogradima. Najpoznatija vina Toskane su Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino i Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.

Chianti vina su najslavnija vina Toskane. To su suha vina te variraju od lakšeg do punog tijela. Proizvode se od sorte Sangiovese uz mali dodatak Caniola, Trebbiana Toscano i Malvasia del Chianti dok se posljednje dvije sorte ne koriste više od 2005. godine. Vina imaju poseban voćni karakter te mirisom podsjećaju na ljubičice i trešnje, a okusom na višnje.

Brunello di Montalcino je jako cijenjeno crno vino iz grada Montalcina. Rađeno je od sorte Sangiovese. Brunello je vino moćnog tijela, duboke boje i izraženih tanina. Vino ima odličan potencijal starenja.

Više od 80% proizvodnje u Toskani čine crna vina, po kojima je postala slavna, a glavna sorta je Sangiovese. Rita Tua i njezin suprug, Virgilio Bisti, kupili su oko 37,5 hektara zemljišta 1984. godine i posadili ga Cabernetom i Merlotom. Kasnije su kupili dodatnih 17,5 hektara zemljišta, te su ukupno imali 55 hektara, od kojih je oko 45 hektara  zasađeno vinovom lozom.

Vinarija je 1992. godine izbacila svoju prvu berbu, a uskoro je počela dobivati ​​pohvale i priznanja od ljubitelja vina diljem svijeta zbog bogatih, punih vina. U samo pet kratkih godina, 100% Merlot je postigao kultni status, dobivajući izvrsne ocjene od najprestižnijih svjetskih kritika vina i publikacija.

Luca D’Attoma, glavni vinar, zadržava prinose na minimumu kako bi osigurao koncentraciju okusa. Rita Tua and her husband, Virgilio Bisti, bought about 37.5 acres of land in 1984 and planted it with Cabernet and Merlot. They later bought an additional 17.5 hectares of land, and had a total of 55 hectares, of which about 45 hectares were planted with vines.
