Vino je intenzivno slamnato žute boje s bakrenim nijansama. Na nosu se osjete senzacionalni mirisi kandiranog i sušenog voća s naznakom meda, naranče, žutih jabuka, cimeta. Na nepcu je strukturirano, toplo s ugodnom svježinom i laganim taninima te konstantnom prisutnošću kandiranog voća, sušenog bilja, cimeta, dunje. Vino je odležalo u hrastovim bačvama 2 godine, što se odrazilo na okuse i mirisi dajući im note dima i klinčića.

The wine is an intense straw yellow color with copper hues. Sensational scents of candied and dried fruit with a hint of honey, orange, yellow apples, cinnamon can be felt on the nose. On the palate it is structured, warm with pleasant freshness and light tannins and the constant presence of candied fruit, dried herbs, cinnamon, quince. The wine was aged in oak barrels for 2 years, which was reflected in the flavors and aromas, giving them notes of smoke and cloves.

Venezia-Giulia (talijanski: Friuli-Venezia Giulia, furlanski: Friûl Vignesie Julie, slovenski: Furlanija-Julijska krajina, njemački: Friaul-Julisch Venetien) je autonomna regija u sjeveroistočnoj Italiji. Jedna je od pet regija koje imaju poseban status motiviran povijesnim razlozima i etničkim sastavom stanovništva (Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Alto Adige, Val d’Aosta, Sardinija i Sicilija). Regija graniči sa Slovenijom, Austrijom, te s talijanskom regijom Veneto. Južna granica regije je sjeverna obala Jadrana. Regija je sa sjevera omeđena Alpama.

Republika Italija je 1963. godine, odlučila spojiti svoj dio bivšeg Slobodnog teritorija Trsta s Venezia-Giulia koju su do tada činile pokrajine Udine i Gorica. Pokrajina Pordenone stvorena je tek 1968. godine odvajanjem od pokrajine Udine. Novostvorena regija je ovim dobila i određenu autonomiju. Budući da je ovim spajanjem stvorena regija s raznolikim stanovništvom različite kulture i povijesti, regiju je karakterizirala nesloga.

Odluku da se Trst proglasi glavnim gradom regije, popratilo je neslaganje stanovništva regije koje se i danas u velikom broju protivi toj odluci, smatrajući Udine boljim rješenjem. Dio stanovništva govori furlanskim jezikom (koji se pribraja retoromanskoj skupini).

Reljef regije ne dopušta veliki razvoj poljoprivrede. Najviše se uzgajaju kukuruz i šećerna repa, dok je u brdovitim područjima razvijeno vinogradarstvo. Uzgoj stoke, pogotovo goveda, premašuje regijonalne zahtjeve i izvozi se u druge regije. Ministarstvo poljoprivrede priznalo je 120 proizvoda u Venezia-Giulia regiji kao “tradicionalna”.

Industrijalizacija u Venezia-Giulia regiji počela je razvojem velike osnovne industrije na obali. Razvoj ove teške industrije je danas u opadanju, a zamjenjuju je mala i srednja obrtništva. Među granama koje su najviše u razvoju su mehanička (posebno u Pordenoneu) i tekstilna industrija, te proizvodnja namještaja. U Udinskoj pokrajini, tercijarni sektor zapošljava oko dvije trećine radno aktivnog stanovništva. Teška industrija koja je prije bila snažno zastupljena u Udinama je danas maknuta u druge krajeve.

Maize and sugar beet are mostly grown, while viticulture is developed in hilly areas. Livestock breeding, especially cattle, exceeds regional requirements and is exported to other regions. The Ministry of Agriculture has recognized 120 products in the Venezia-Giulia region as “traditional”. Industrialization in the Venezia-Giulia region began with the development of a large core industry on the coast. The development of this heavy industry is in decline today, and is being replaced by small and medium-sized crafts. Among the branches that are most developing are the mechanical (especially in Pordenone) and textile industries, as well as the production of furniture. Paraschos je grčka obitelj koja se smjestila u talijanskom malom gradu San Floriano del Collio, u pokrajini Gorizia. Vinariju je utemeljio 1998. godine Evangelos Paraschos koji se bavio vinarstvom od 1979. godine.
U svojim vinogradima uzgajaju sorte Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Tocai Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Picolit, Verduzzo, Pinot Blanc, Friulano, Merlot, Barbera i Refosco. U vinogradima se ne koriste kemijska gnojiva ili herbicidi, a gnoji se samo ponekad i to uz odgovarajuće životinjsko gnojivo.
Fermentacije se odvija spontano u hrastovim bačvama. Izuzetna važnost pridaje se vinovoj lozi s obzirom da ih se pušta da stare prema vlastitim biološkim ritmovima, a posljedica je dublje korijenje vinove loze i brže starenje.
Od 2009. godine vinarija proizvodi s najboljim grožđem “Amphoreus”, vina proizvedena i odležana u amforama.

Paraschos is a Greek family settled in the Italian small town of San Floriano del Collio, in the province of Gorizia. The winery was founded in 1998 by Evangelos Paraschos, who has been involved in winemaking since 1979. In their vineyards they grow varieties of Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Tocai Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Picolit, Verduzzo, Pinot Blanc, Friulano, Merlot, Barbera and Refosco. Chemical fertilizers or herbicides are not used in the vineyards, and fertilizers are only occasionally applied with appropriate animal manure. Fermentation takes place spontaneously in oak barrels. Extreme importance is attached to the vine as it is allowed to age according to its own biological rhythms, and the result is deeper roots of the vine and faster aging. Since 2009, the winery produces with the best grapes “Amphoreus”, wines produced and aged in amphorae.
