WEMYSS, STRAWBERRY FONDANT ICING 29 yo SINGLE GRAIN 46%vol

Jedno zrno u jednu bačvu iz uvijek pouzdane destilerije Invergordon. Ovo je destilirano 1988. i ostavljeno da sazrije u bačvi do 2017., kada ga je Wemyss napunio u boce. Proizvedene su 234 boce koje su dobile naziv Strawberry Fondant Icing, kao prijedlog profila okusa.

Nos: Keks s maslacem, mango, patoka, suptilne zemljane arome.

Okus: Zelena jabuka, karamela, mrvica rabarbare.

Završetak: Smeđi šećer, džem od krušaka, borovnica i crnog ribizla.

Single cask single grain from the ever-dependable Invergordon distillery. This was distilled in 1988 and left to mature in a barrel until 2017, when Wemyss came along to bottle it up. 234 bottles were produced and given the name Strawberry Fondant Icing, as a suggestion of its flavour profile.

Nose: Buttered crumpets, mango, treacle, subtle earthy aromas.

Palate: Green apple, toffee, a touch of rhubarb crumble.

Finish: Brown sugar, pear, blueberry and blackcurrant jam.
